Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("Member," "you") and Doggone Deal ("Doggone Deal," "we," "us," "our") governing your access to and use of doggonedeal.com, the Doggone Deal membership program, and any related mobile experiences (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Description of Service
Doggone Deal operates a paid membership program that provides Members with access to discounts on pet-related goods and services offered by independent, third-party businesses ("Providers"), including but not limited to pet food, grooming, boarding, veterinary care, pet insurance, sitting and walking, obedience training, dental services, clothing, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, travel services, and, at higher tiers, prescription medication, cremation, burial, and memorial services. Doggone Deal is a discount and membership platform. We are not a veterinarian, insurer, pharmacy, groomer, boarding facility, trainer, or funeral home. We do not provide, supervise, or guarantee any Provider's goods or services. All services purchased through a discount are a transaction directly between you and the Provider, subject to that Provider's own terms, licensing, and policies.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to purchase or use a membership.
- You must provide accurate account and payment information and keep it up to date.
- One membership account per person unless otherwise stated in a specific promotion. Membership benefits are personal to you and may not be shared, transferred, or used on behalf of another individual.
Membership Plans & Fees
Doggone Deal currently offers the following membership tiers. Features, pricing, and availability are subject to change; the version presented to you at checkout controls your purchase.
| Tier | Price | Highlights |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | Free | Food, grooming, boarding, vet, insurance, sitter/walker, training, dental, clothing, flea/tick/heartworm, and travel discounts |
| Premium | $7.99/month | Everything in Basic, plus prescription medication, cremation & burial, and memorial service discounts |
| Sapphire | $14.99/month | Everything in Premium, plus curated luxury pet products & services |
A one-time card activation fee of $12.99 applies unless waived by an active promotion. Fees are charged in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted at checkout.
Promotional Free Trial
From time to time, Doggone Deal may offer promotional pricing, such as a free Basic membership period or a waived activation fee (for example, the "Freedom Summer" promotion). Unless stated otherwise:
- Promotional pricing applies only for the stated window and only to the specific tier and fee it names.
- Your membership will automatically convert to standard paid pricing for your selected tier once the promotional period ends, and your payment method on file will be charged accordingly, unless you cancel before the promotional period ends.
- We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before a promotional-to-paid conversion, but it is your responsibility to track the promotion's end date and cancel if you do not wish to continue.
Billing, Auto-Renewal & Cancellation
Memberships are billed monthly in advance on a recurring basis and automatically renew each billing cycle until canceled. By purchasing a membership, you authorize Doggone Deal to charge your payment method on file for the recurring fee and any applicable one-time fees.
- Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from your Member dashboard's Cancel Membership page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you will retain access through that period, and no partial-month refund will be issued unless required by law.
- Price changes: We will provide advance notice of any change to recurring pricing before it takes effect on your next billing cycle.
- Failed payments: If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and/or suspend membership benefits until payment is resolved.
- Refunds: Membership fees, activation fees, and amounts paid directly to Providers are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
Discounts & Third-Party Providers
- Discounts are offered at the discretion of participating Providers and may change, be limited, or be discontinued at any time without notice.
- Discounts cannot be combined; one discount applies per order unless a Provider states otherwise.
- Doggone Deal does not guarantee that any specific Provider, location, or discount will be available in your area.
- All service quality, safety, licensing, insurance, medical judgment, and fulfillment are the sole responsibility of the Provider you transact with. Disputes over a purchased service should be directed to that Provider.
- Doggone Deal is a savings intermediary, not a party to the transaction between you and a Provider.
Membership Card & Account
Your physical or digital Doggone Deal membership card is non-transferable and may only be used by you for discounts on your own pet(s). We may deactivate a card or account used fraudulently, shared publicly, or used to obtain discounts for resale. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
Business Listings
Businesses may apply to be listed as a Provider through our Business Apply page. Acceptance is at Doggone Deal's discretion. Listed Providers are independent businesses, not employees, agents, franchisees, or partners of Doggone Deal, and are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listing, the discounts they offer, and their compliance with applicable licensing and consumer protection laws.
Dog Parks, Lost Pets & Community Features
Features such as Dog Parks listings and Lost Pets postings are provided as a convenience and may include information submitted by other users or aggregated from public sources. Doggone Deal does not verify the accuracy, safety, or current status of any location or posting and is not responsible for the outcome of using these features. Use good judgment and independently verify information before relying on it, particularly for a lost pet.
No Medical, Veterinary, or Insurance Advice
Nothing on the Service constitutes veterinary, medical, legal, financial, or insurance advice. Discounts on pet health insurance, prescription medications, veterinary services, or related categories do not constitute an endorsement of any specific policy, medication, or treatment, and do not substitute for consultation with a licensed veterinarian or insurance professional. Always consult a licensed veterinarian regarding your pet's health.
Prohibited Conduct
- Misrepresenting your identity, membership status, or eligibility for a discount.
- Reselling, sharing, or reproducing membership cards, codes, or discounts for use by non-members.
- Posting false, defamatory, or harmful content, including false Lost Pets reports.
- Attempting to interfere with, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service.
- Using the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Intellectual Property
The Doggone Deal name, logo, website design, and content are owned by Doggone Deal or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without prior written permission, except as necessary to use the Service for its intended personal purpose.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service and all discounts, listings, and information provided through it are offered "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any Provider or discount will meet your expectations.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doggone Deal and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or any Provider's goods or services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to Doggone Deal in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Doggone Deal from any claims, losses, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your interactions with any Provider.
Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your membership or access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud or abuse, or non-payment. You may cancel your membership at any time as described in Section 6.
Governing Law & Disputes
Governing law. These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Service, or your membership, are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Binding arbitration agreement. You and Doggone Deal agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, your membership, or your use of the Service (a "Dispute") will be resolved exclusively through final and binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual action in small claims court if it qualifies. This arbitration agreement is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.
- The arbitration will be administered by a recognized arbitration provider (such as JAMS or the American Arbitration Association) under its consumer arbitration rules then in effect.
- The arbitration will be conducted in Sacramento County, California, or, at your election, by phone, video conference, or based on written submissions, to the extent permitted by the arbitration provider's rules.
- The arbitrator, not any court, has exclusive authority to resolve any dispute relating to the interpretation, applicability, or enforceability of this arbitration agreement, except for the class-action waiver below, which is to be decided only by a court of competent jurisdiction.
- The arbitrator may award the same damages and relief that a court could award, on an individual basis only, and the arbitrator's decision will be final and binding, subject to limited judicial review under the Federal Arbitration Act.
Class action waiver. You and Doggone Deal agree that any Dispute will be resolved solely on an individual basis, and that neither party may bring a claim as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative action. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not otherwise preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding. If this class-action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim or request for relief, that claim or request must be brought in court, and all remaining claims will remain subject to arbitration.
Venue for non-arbitrable matters. For any Dispute not subject to arbitration (including small claims actions or enforcement of the arbitration agreement itself), you and Doggone Deal agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Sacramento County, California, and each party waives any objection to venue in those courts.
Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to Doggone Deal at the contact address in Section 20 within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. If you opt out, neither you nor Doggone Deal will be required to arbitrate Disputes under this section, but all other provisions of these Terms will continue to apply.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (such as an email or in-app notice) before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
